Website, Branding and technology overhaul for Faith Baptist Church

Faith Baptist Church is a 1500+ member church with dedicated members and leadership. It offers biblical counseling services to the community. Each year, Faith Baptist has continued to increase the size of its membership and ministry.

The church contacted Sciberus when it was initiating a rebranding campaign, and preparing for a technology overhaul.  In essence, they were building the infrastructure for their future.   Their current website consisted of 100 pages that were not easily managed, and the technology director was the sole person maintaining their websites.  The increasing desire for staff and ministry leaders to update content often resulted in bottlenecks.  For this reason a new system was needed to address several requirements.

THE PROCESS

To alleviate the church’s problem, Sciberus worked with Faith Baptist to design a content management system that addressed each of their needs accordingly. The ultimate goal was to design a system that allowed each ministry to have its access to its own branded webpage, grant authorized users access to assigned resources, while seamlessly integrating with the Shelby SystemsTM accounting software that they used to manage their ministry and its books.

In summary, implementing this solution addressed the needs of Faith Baptist Church. It allowed every ministry to have access to its webpage, enabled users to access restricted resources, and helped managing website content.  Currently the website boasts more than 1000 pages filled with fresh content.
