Website Redesign for Leading Healthcare Provider

Unity Healthcare is a premier facility in its community. The organization is comprised of a group of physicians providing an array of medical services to the greater its community. It consists of approximately 60 physicians, and continues to grow each year. Unity is committed to serving the medical needs of the community through physicians who are highly regarded in the practices.

When it began working with Sciberus, Unity Healthcare was looking for a way to showcase its campus and leadership. They needed a means for the community to be able to learn more about the organization, its services and staff. For these reasons, they needed a new website since the old site was static and lacked an appealing design.

THE PROCESS

To alleviate this problem, Sciberus worked with Unity Healthcare to design a system that addressed their needs. The desired goal was to design a system that allows Unity to showcase its campus and leadership. In addition, this portal would serve as a way for the community to learn about the healthcare center, its facilities and physicians.  The Project manager worked to outline the requirement, and the resulting system would feature a fully dynamic site with virtual tours, and a database driven physician and employee directory.  Furthermore, a system would be implemented that would allow employees to submit employee applications online, and have them email directly to the HR department.

THE RESULT

Sciberus was able to develop and deliver the best solution for Unity Healthcare which served as a means for the community and helped the organization achieves its goals.
The resulting solution consisted of the following features:

  • Physician Directory
  • CMS
  • Virtual Tours
  • Onsite Photography
  • Hybrid Design
  • Electronic employment application that submitted directly to the HR and copied the applicant.

After working with Sciberus, Unity healthcare was able to showcase its campus, and services.  Patients were able to local and learn more about the physicians and their practices, without having to visit their offices. Also, the community was able to learn more about the facilities by visiting the website and reviewing the virtual tours.  Physicians were also able to log into the site and keep their contact information up to date.   The new site was easy to maintain and allowed the community to learn more about the institution, its services and staff.
